Overview
Based at our manufacturing facility in Stonehaven the Forklift Driver will safely operate a multi-directional forklift to efficiently move goods around the busy factory and yard.

Responsibilities
- Operate a Combi-Lift forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with both company procedures and legislative requirements.
- Your role will involve working both indoors or outside, as required.
- You must be able to follow instructions and plan carefully and accurately.
- Load and unload timber, panel products, and other materials.
- Transport raw materials, work-in-progress products, and finished goods throughout the production facility.
- Ensure the correct marking/ labelling and storage/ stacking of timber products within designated areas.
- Carry out daily pre-use vehicle inspections and reporting of any defects/ actions.
- Complete relevant documentation – booking-in goods, stock records, material movement records, and loading paperwork checks.
- Ensure all loads are secure, stable, and can be transported safely.
- You should be physically fit and agile.
- You should be able to work as part of a team.
- You will maintain good housekeeping within your work area.
- You will be fully aware of health and safety issues within the factory & yard environment.
Required
- Combi-Lift / Counter-balance licence/certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts within a manufacturing, timber, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with a strong attention to detail.
Please note, the role will involve manual handling (lengths of timber and sheets of boarding).
