As a PMO Specialist, you will move beyond basic project tracking to drive a sophisticated Enterprise-wide Change Portfolio. You will work within a department that values curiosity and collaboration, ensuring strategic goals are met through expert governance and high-level portfolio insights.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
- Enterprise Planning & Governance: Maintain and enhance Change Management controls and frameworks, overseeing planning at the portfolio level to ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Dependency & Risk Management: Take ownership of capturing and managing complex dependencies across the enterprise, ensuring a clear view of interconnected risks.
- Resource Management: Lead resource management at the portfolio level, monitoring capacity and allocation to ensure the right talent is on the right priority at the right time.
- Reporting & MI: Deliver a 'single source of truth' by monitoring budgets and slippage, translating complex portfolio data into actionable insights for senior executives.
- Tool Administration: Manage and optimise project management tools to improve data quality, user experience, and overall reporting functionality.
What You Bring to the Team
- You are a confident team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes full ownership of high-level portfolio functions.
- Financial Services Expertise: Essential practical experience in a PMO or project professional role within the Financial Services, Wealth, or Asset Management sectors.
- Portfolio Specialist: Proven skills in enterprise-level planning, resource management, and complex dependence mapping across multiple workstreams.
- Technical Proficiency: Essential intermediate Excel skills and a high level of comfort utilising AI tools where appropriate to drive efficiency.
- Communication & Drive: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships and maintain a positive, proactive attitude under pressure.
- Desirables: Basic Power BI skills are preferred.
