Overview
In this Senior DevOps Engineer role you own AWS and Kubernetes environments end-to-end within a small, impact-driven team. You will shape cloud platforms, automation, and security for an AI and robotics company that relies on robust production systems. Expect to implement multi-account, multi-region infrastructure, automate deployments, and drive observability, DR, and compliance. You will work closely with the CTO and Engineering Manager to deliver secure, scalable platforms that enable real-time decision-making. This role offers autonomy, hybrid work, and a chance to influence core engineering practices.

Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain multi-account, multi-region AWS environments using Terraform and Helm
- Operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS and OpenShift), registries and service meshes with zero-touch deployments via GitHub Actions and Argo CD
- Lead security posture reviews and hardening using GuardDuty, CloudWatch and IAM
- Own observability, alerting, backup and disaster recovery, including annual restore drills
- Drive cost and capacity optimization and oversee audits for certifications
- Coordinate incident response and mentor developers in DevSecOps practices
Key requirements
- Proven DevOps or SRE experience with a recent focus on AWS cloud engineering
- Strong Kubernetes administration (EKS and OpenShift), including on-premises setup, plus Helm
- Strong Terraform, GitHub Actions and Argo CD, with Docker and Linux
- Solid Nexus experience and SSO implementation across industry-standard software
- Scripting in Bash and Python or Go, and experience integrating SAST and DAST
