What you'll be doing

  • Lead the design and delivery of AI governance strategies, translating regulatory, ethical and industry best practice into practical governance frameworks, policies, controls and operating models.
  • Design and implement governance processes across the entire AI lifecycle, including development, deployment, monitoring and ongoing assurance, while embedding governance through culture, communication and training.
  • Provide AI assurance expertise across AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, helping clients meet regulatory, ethical and industry standards.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing executive decision-making and ensuring governance is embedded across organisations.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging AI regulation, governance frameworks and industry trends, helping clients prepare for future developments.
  • Contribute to business growth by leading proposals, supporting bids, developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Help shape and grow the AI Governance & Trust practice by developing new propositions, methodologies, tools and thought leadership.
  • Mentor and develop colleagues, strengthening team capability and supporting the growth of a high-performing consulting practice.

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience delivering AI governance, responsible AI or AI assurance programmes within a consulting environment.
  • Deep understanding of AI governance, AI ethics, emerging regulation and industry standards, with the ability to translate these into practical frameworks and controls.
  • Good understanding of how AI and data solutions are designed, developed, deployed and monitored across the full lifecycle.
  • Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to solve complex governance challenges across people, process, technology and data.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior executives and business leaders.
  • A proven track record of leading client engagements, developing governance operating models and embedding organisational change through training and capability development.
  • Experience identifying opportunities, winning new business, leading proposals and growing client accounts.
  • Previous experience building, developing and mentoring high-performing consulting teams.

Desirable: Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, emerging AI governance frameworks and developing thought leadership within the AI governance space.
