Are you a highly experienced QA professional with a deep understanding of corporate performance management systems? This is a standout opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end testing strategy for a major Tagetik implementation within a complex, large-scale financial environment. Working at the heart of a high-profile programme, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and finance stakeholders, ensuring the integrity of critical financial systems. This initial six-month contract offers an immediate start with a hybrid working model, requiring three days a week onsite in London. Any day rate requirement will be considered alongside the level of experience brought to the table.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Governance: Define, own, and execute the comprehensive test strategy and detailed plans (SIT, UAT, regression, and patch validation) for Tagetik implementations, ensuring full coverage across all functional and technical design elements.
- Functional & Data Validation: Validate complex financial logic including consolidations, allocations, intercompany eliminations, and journals. You will perform meticulous data reconciliation and variance analysis between source systems, Tagetik, and downstream reports.
- Defect Management & UAT Coordination: Lead and support UAT cycles, coordinate defect triage calls, manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle with development teams, and prepare high-level status metrics for leadership sign-off.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Act as the QA authority on the project, mentoring junior testers, coordinating onshore/offshore teams, and collaborating directly with Finance SMEs and integration teams to ensure release readiness.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify automation opportunities to optimise the regression suite and establish reusable test assets to elevate overall QA standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- EPM/CPM or Tagetik Expertise: More than 10 years of overall QA testing experience, featuring significant hands-on exposure to CCH Tagetik testing or testing of other EPM/CPM platforms.
- Financial Domain Knowledge: Strong functional comprehension of financial consolidation, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial close cycles.
- Technical Testing Toolkit: Proven capability in test case design, SIT/UAT coordination, and robust data validation using SQL or data extracts.
- Communication & Analysis: Excellent stakeholder facilitation skills paired with a sharp analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
Desirable: Experience with automation testing tools and performance testing frameworks is highly advantageous.
