What you'll be doing

  • As a trusted advisor, you'll help clients build robust data management capabilities that enable innovation, responsible AI and better business decisions.
  • Advise clients on data management, governance and AI strategies, helping shape vision, roadmaps and business cases that maximise the value of data.
  • Design and implement data management operating models, including governance frameworks, stewardship, policies, standards and processes.
  • Lead or contribute to data governance, data quality, metadata management, master data management (MDM), data lineage and catalogue initiatives.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes, influencing senior stakeholders and driving organisational change.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, developers and data scientists to embed governance, quality and compliance into modern data platforms and AI solutions.
  • Support the delivery of trusted, ethical and compliant AI through strong data foundations and governance practices.
  • At Senior Consultant level, lead workstreams, mentor colleagues, contribute to thought leadership and support business development activities including proposals, bids and client presentations.

What we're looking for

  • You’ll bring a blend of consulting expertise, technical knowledge and stakeholder management skills, including:
  • Proven experience designing and delivering data management, data governance or Master Data Management (MDM) solutions within consulting or industry.
  • Experience delivering initiatives such as data catalogues, metadata management, data lineage, data quality, master data consolidation or governance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one leading data governance or data management platform, such as Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Ataccama or Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience defining and embedding data stewardship models, governance processes and operating frameworks.
  • Strong communication, consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and a genuine interest in AI, emerging technologies and data-driven transformation.

Desirable:

  • Experience with AI governance, Responsible AI, AI data preparation, model lifecycle management, bias detection, explainability or the DAMA DMBOK framework.
