Central London (Farringdon nearest tube station) Β£30,000 - Β£35,000 per annum Full Time / Permanent | Hybrid (1 day remote - Wednesday OR Friday). Deerfoot Recruitment is working on behalf of a valued client seeking an IT Network Support Technician to join their growing technical team based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic IT professional to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The successful candidate will provide first and second-line IT support to internal teams and remote users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. You'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based systems and associated equipment, ensuring all assets are properly tracked and documented.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day IT support across hardware, software, and network environments
- Managing and updating support tickets, identifying and reporting trends
- Supporting field installations and troubleshooting alongside the Network Support and Operations teams
- Preparing and configuring equipment for installations and building network cabinets
- Maintaining asset and stock management systems
Key skills & experience:
- Proven hands-on IT support experience (1st/2nd line)
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS (7, 10 & 11 Embedded)
- Computer networking experience
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A, Network, or Microsoft MCP/MCSA
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
