What the job involves
- You will be joining the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Technology department as part of a multi-skilled agile team dedicated to rolling out sophisticated automation that drives Deutsche Bank’s critical control infrastructure.
- The team develops high quality tools whilst working hard to foster a culture of collaboration and engineering excellence.
- You will make a crucial contribution to the efforts to accelerate the delivery of changes required by the bank’s committed key deliverables in this area, which are frequently driven by tight regulatory requirements.
- As well as taking the lead in software development tasks, you will be domain expert in the analysis of large complex datasets and have a clear understanding of the business processes and competing priorities.
- Develop and own technical designs that align with Group Architecture principles and support the department’s technology transformation.
- Track and manage design updates, resolving unforeseen engineering challenges effectively.
- Shape the technology roadmap by evaluating emerging tools and established techniques, balancing cost, complexity, and performance.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Business, Model Development, and Technology leadership to refine requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Apply advanced analytical and querying techniques to diagnose issues, optimise performance, and enforce data quality controls.
- Provide technical leadership through hands-on and mentoring activity.
