Requirements

  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Solid background in cybersecurity, specifically Web Application Security, knowledge of the CVE program, DDoS mitigation, and incident management.
  • Foundational Technology Experience: Experience with SaaS/Cloud or hybrid cloud deployments, web server platforms (Apache/NGINX/IIS), and Unix/Linux or Windows systems administration.
  • Scripting Ability: Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, PHP, Unix/Linux Shell, C#, or other common web languages.
  • Security Best Practices: Deep understanding of HTTP and API security best practices.
  • Customer-Centric Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and build trust-based relationships.
  • (Desirable) Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
  • (Desirable) Hands-on experience with Varnish Configuration Language (VCL) or Edge Computing platforms.
  • (Desirable) Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role for a CDN or Cloud Security provider.
