This position is ideal for someone looking to work as part of a dynamic global team, supplementing our Sales representatives, Directors, and VPs to help them achieve their KPIs. The successful applicant will be energetic, flexible to a dynamic workload, analytical, and highly organised.
The candidate must be able to adjust their workflow due to numerous ad hoc requests and varying business needs. The successful applicant will make this role their own, using initiative and problem-solving skills to suggest improvements to the day-to-day running of processes and manage their own projects when bringing these visions to life. They must be able to work independently to numerous personal and team deadlines while consistently identifying areas for improvement.
Key requirements include:
- Ability to interact and build rapport with all levels of sales/data management.
- Very strong organisational and independent project management skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite, for creation of reporting slide decks and original sales documents for distribution.
- An understanding of formulas, functions, and pivot tables in Excel.
- An understanding of standard forecasting methodology, KPI reporting, sales planning strategy, and the overall enterprise sales cycle is desirable.
- Desirable experience using Salesforce and Workday.
What the job involves:
This role offers the candidate the opportunity to have a direct impact on overall corporate success. Our Sales Operations Executive team provides order processing and general operational support to the global sales teams. This position interacts regularly with numerous senior staff across several internal teams, so requires a confident and professional individual.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that all contracts closed are accurately uploaded onto the CRM system.
- Inputting deployment information, using knowledge gained from the technical side of the business to verify the validity of different combinations of products when inputting them into the system.
- Inputting financial data which will feed into our financial database, Workday.
- Identifying and using problem-solving techniques to ensure complete deal and data accuracy at all times.
- Constantly striving to look for ways to improve the speed and accuracy of the deal process.
- Meeting tight deadlines at month end and working quickly and efficiently to ensure that all tasks are completed within the given time frame.
- Processing amendment letters and alterations to customers' contracts.
- Building relationships with other teams including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Development to increase process workflow, particularly during the busy month-end period.
- Acting as CRM support for the global sales team, answering any email queries sent through to shared mailboxes.
- Troubleshooting issues – being able to quickly identify the source of the issue and find a solution, while keeping excellent communication with the Sales team while the issue is being fixed.
- Liaising with the Salesforce Admins and Architects to fix any issues that arise.
- Identifying areas for improvement and coming up with new ideas to optimise business processes.
