- Keen understanding of relevant technology, terminology, research techniques and processes

- Demonstrates high integrity and emotional intelligence, able to lead, influence, persuade
What the job involves
Compass is TMG’s latest first‑party data offering and has already been recognised as an industry‑leading solution, winning accolades at the AOP, Wires and Press Gazette Awards. The Compass Sales Lead will be responsible for taking the Compass proposition to market, selling the full suite of products ranging from bespoke research projects to standardised insights access. Reporting into the Director of Commercial Strategic Growth, this role will identify market opportunities, proactively source research briefs, and drive net new revenue through the sale of Compass research and insights outputs. You will play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of TMG’s data assets to prospective clients and securing new business for TMG’s growing research and insights agency.
Research and Insights Sales
- Responsible for selling all Compass products to the market in line with targets set by Director of Commercial Strategic Growth
- Identifying Market Opportunities
- Leverage existing contacts in the research industry to find key sales opportunities for the Compass offering
- Liaise with the Compass team to share feedback from the market
- Market positioning
- Provide insights on how best to position the Compass offering to best engage with potential clients
