We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with experience in technical accounting or financial reporting and a working knowledge of IFRS. You will have experience preparing consolidated financial statements in a group environment and working with partners across different locations, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice within established control frameworks.

What the job involves:
We are the Group Technical Accounting team, providing support on complex accounting matters. We partner with colleagues across Finance, Tax and other functions on transactions, regulatory change and external reporting. Our work helps drive consistency in accounting outcomes and supports sound decision-making.
In this role, we help resolve accounting issues and ensure accounting policies aligned with IFRS and regulatory requirements. We cover acquisition accounting, goodwill and purchased intangible assets, including impairment testing, and contribute to the preparation of interim and annual financial statements.
Within the Group Reporting and Accounting team, we partner across the business to support accurate and compliant reporting. We review and update accounting policies and support their application across the organisation. We advise on the accounting treatment of acquisitions, and intangible assets, including goodwill and impairment testing, and new or changing activities.
We follow developments in accounting standards and regulation and support their implementation where relevant. We produce technical papers and documentation for management review, audit and governance purposes. We train and provide guidance to finance teams. We support the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
