- Qualified Solicitor: You are a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
- Deep SaaS Experience: You bring a minimum of 5-8 years' PQE, gained primarily in-house within a high-growth technology company or in the commercial/TMT department of a leading law firm.

What the job involves
- Reporting To: General Counsel. As a key member of the Legal team, you will act as a strategic partner to the business, balancing commercial velocity with robust risk management. You will take ownership of complex, high-value deals that drive Kaluza’s global expansion.
- Lead Strategic Deal Structures: You will draft, negotiate, and close complex SaaS subscription agreements, professional services contracts, and strategic partnership agreements with international enterprise clients. You will navigate high-stakes negotiations involving IP licensing, cloud liability, and data protection.
- Drive Commercial Strategy: Acting as a core legal advisor to the Commercial and Bid teams, you will support RFPs, pricing structures, and risk allocation strategies for large-scale international deals, ensuring commercial viability while protecting the business.
- Scale Legal Operations: You will own and evolve our commercial playbooks, standard templates, and legal guidance notes. Your goal is to create a frictionless contracting process that ensures consistency and efficiency across the sales cycle.
- Empower the Business: You will design and deliver practical training to Revenue and Bid teams on contracting rules of engagement, deal hygiene, and regulatory risk, empowering them to move faster with confidence.
