  • Confident making cold outbound calls, and thrive off speaking and connecting with business owners.

  • Organised and confident in managing a large pipeline of prospects, with deals at various stages in our process.
  • Able to simplify and explain complex products in a way that customers with little experience in commercial financing can easily understand.

What the job involves

  • This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join our business development team.
  • This is an entrepreneurial role, where you’ll manage and strategise your individual pipeline to find and finance SMEs in the UK - the backbone of our economy.
  • You’ll build a high quality pipeline of prospects and generate revenue by making outbound calls, booking meetings, following up with customers, advising on their best finance options from our suite of products, and closing deals.
  • Each interaction with a potential new customer is unique, and requires focus as well as solo thinking. How you manage your pipeline will make a significant difference in hitting your KPIs.
  • If you are successful, there are substantial opportunities to develop in our growing team, both monetarily and professionally.
  • Building and nurturing a high quality prospect pipeline by making regular outbound calls, and occasionally dealing with inbound queries, at all times representing the company in a highly professional manner.
  • Listening, understanding and advising which of our finance options can help solve your prospect’s challenges.
  • Identifying and qualifying prospects alongside the ones we have identified and initially qualified for you.
