Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a data/marketing analytics or SEM role with a strong focus on reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in Tableau/Looker/BI tools for data visualization and dashboarding
- Practical experience using SQL and Python (Pandas/NumPy) for data manipulation and handling large datasets
- Comfortable working with multiple data sources - platform exports, CRM data and internal data tables
- Familiarity with Google Ads data - you understand what the metrics mean in a paid search context
- An analytical mindset, you ask why before you answer what
- A background in maths, computer science, economics or a related field is a plus
- Familiarity with the Google Ads API is a plus
- Experience/interest in utilising AI for data automation/analysis is a plus
What the job involves
- Be the analytical backbone of Pipedrive's SEM team - building the data foundation that powers faster, bolder paid search decisions at a global scale.
- Extend and deepen existing data capabilities, bringing SEM-specific insight and channel expertise.
- Build and maintain SEM performance dashboards on top of existing data infrastructure for clear, reliable reporting and deep troubleshooting.
- Develop deep expertise in the Google Ads API to unlock granular data at keyword, search term, bid strategy and audience levels.
- Go beyond platform-native reporting by joining ad platform data with internal metrics to connect paid search activity to real downstream business outcomes.
- Design and track A/B tests from hypothesis through to conclusion, ensuring learnings are documented and translated into actionable recommendations.
- Support the creation, management and optimisation of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Conduct keyword research, ad copy testing, bid management and negative keyword development.
- Monitor campaign performance and flag issues and opportunities proactively.
