Requirements

  • 5+ years of consulting and/or consultative implementation experience
  • First class client engagement skills throughout the lifecycle of a sales engagement
  • Strong, data driven analytical skills
  • Ability to translate customer requirements and process flows into technical solutions
  • Ability to work well in a multicultural team
  • Ability to learn and adapt autonomously
  • Strong consulting skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to understand and present complex technical capabilities and solutions
  • Solid experience working with a Learning Management Solution (LMS/LXP/SLP) a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models and/or lesson and curriculum planning skills a plus

What the job involves

  • To support the Rise Up sales function and international growth (UK, Netherlands & Germany) – Mid to Enterprise Customers
  • To become an overall Rise Up SME (platform, process & technical services)
  • Work with the sales team to qualify opportunities against a set of criteria, to ensure they are strategically aligned to our product and support to the sales team in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) as required
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the learning industry (technologies, methodologies, and best practice)
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our client business and technical challenges, operating environment, capabilities, and goals
  • Provide ideas to refine and evolve the core sales and pre‑sales processes such as discovery, technical qualification, and proof‑of‑concept
  • Actively keep up to date with latest & upcoming features and functionality within the product and act as the primary point of contact for prospect’s technical queries that arise through the sales process
  • As required, manage discovery sessions to uncover client requirements, pitching tailored presentations to C‑suite executives or interacting with technology architects and development teams
  • Design and deliver customised demonstrations to support the sales team as required
  • Comfortable working in a scaling business, where time is critical, and things change on a regular basis
  • Lead technical discussions with key customer/prospect stakeholders and decision makers, effectively articulating creative and technical solutions
  • Develop strong working relationships across internal functions (sales, customer success, product, development, operations, marketing, etc.)
  • Be willing to play a role in post‑sale activity to ensure adoption or help grow accounts
  • Work closely with the implementation & customer success function to understand the best overall solution for our clients
  • Provides strategic recommendations on the use of learning technology and other digital tools to provide innovative and effective online and blended learning experiences
