Requirements

  • 6+ years of pre-sales or consultant experience, with at least 3+ in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science, preferably in the software industry.
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and Databricks. Certifications with each are a plus.
  • Understanding of SQL, Python, R, Apache Spark or similar product or language are also a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics, data science, ETL processes, AI/ML workflows, automation, and model deployment within cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in using Alteryx or similar data analytics tools is highly desirable.
  • Experience setting up data connectivity for both on-prem and cloud sources, including ODBC configurations for on-prem systems and OAuth/SSO-based integrations for cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex selling situations, engaging with Line of Business Leaders and IT stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts, and C-level executives, to drive change through analytics adoption.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and continuously re-prioritise while maintaining a constant focus on participating in the sales process.

  • Remain up to date on Alteryx solutions and features, competitive products, and emerging technologies while maintaining familiarity and adherence to all company methods and procedures.
  • Advise on best practices for AI-driven data automation, cloud cost optimization, and scalable analytics workflows, helping customers accelerate digital transformation.
  • Work with management to drive sales and mentor junior team members to improve their abilities, skills and knowledge of the Alteryx platform, sales engineering strategies, and client-facing skills.
