What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a Product Manager to own the infrastructure that makes fraud decisioning consistent, reliable, auditable, and fast to iterate across Cleo’s products and markets
  • This role sits at the intersection of Fraud Strategy, Risk, Credit, Compliance, Engineering, Operations, and product teams
  • You will turn fraud strategy into scalable platform capabilities that protect Cleo and our customers, while supporting growth, approval rates, customer experience, and regulatory expectations
  • You will own Cleo’s fraud decisioning platform, including rules, orchestration, event pipelines, vendor routing, and decision flows across onboarding, transactions, account activity, and new product launches
  • You will be responsible for ensuring fraud controls are built through reusable platform capabilities, not fragmented or bespoke logic across individual products
  • Own the roadmap for Cleo’s fraud decisioning platform across products and geographies
  • Build and improve rules engines, orchestration layers, event pipelines, decision APIs, and fraud-control workflows
  • Own SEON, Socure, and other fraud vendor implementations, including routing, orchestration, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Translate fraud strategy into live, scalable product and platform implementations
  • Partner with Fraud Strategy, Risk, Credit, Compliance, and Engineering to ship controls that balance fraud prevention, customer experience, approval rates, and regulatory requirements
  • Embed fraud controls into new regulated product launches from the start, ensuring controls are reusable, observable, and auditable
  • Develop scalable tooling for fraud operations, reducing manual work and improving speed, consistency, and investigation quality
  • Own system health for fraud infrastructure, including reliability, latency, scalability, monitoring, auditability, and fallback paths
  • Ensure fraud decisions are measurable, explainable, and traceable through decision logs, reason codes, dashboards, and feedback loops
  • Drive consistency in fraud controls across markets, products, and customer journeys
