We are looking for an exceptional Lead/Staff Data Analyst, who is excited about Plum’s mission, to join as a company-wide analytics leader.
You have 7+ years in a quantitative role, with deep experience in A/B testing, causal inference, and translating data into business impact, and you are comfortable working with tools like SQL, dbt, and Python.
You are an experienced mentor, raising the bar for analytics through best practices, frameworks, and standards. You are excited about working on ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment. You are able to connect data to product and business strategy, uncovering actionable insights about our customers.
What the job involves:
- You will help expand the value we deliver across Plum through defining data standards, championing best experimentation practices, and driving data-informed decision making across teams.
- You will define and evolve Plum’s analytics strategy, including ownership of core metrics, experimentation standards, and measurement frameworks across the company.
- You will mentor and guide Data Analysts embedded in product squads (dotted-line), helping raise the quality and impact of their work, while partnering closely with the Data Platform and Machine Learning teams.
- You will lead high-impact, cross-functional projects (e.g. growth, retention, monetisation, or product optimisation), from problem definition through to insight and recommendation.
- You will regularly partner with senior leadership across product, engineering, design, finance, marketing and ops to influence decisions with data and shape product and business strategy.
