Requirements

  • 7+ years experience as a front-end engineer with experience of some or all of the technologies in our platform or equivalents
  • Knowledge of building and running banking-grade Cloud-based SaaS solutions
  • Attention to detail and empathy to user needs and experience

    We build our front-end with technology like:

    • React, React Native, TypeScript & JavaScript, Next.js, Node, HTML, CSS
    • GraphQL-based APIs - we use Apollo on the client-side
    • Cloud deployments - Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub
    • Observability - Sentry

    Lead the technical design and development of one of the core front-end domains within the FoundryOS platform. Ensure high-performance, scalable, available, fault-tolerant systems are built and maintained. Directly manage, coach and mentor the team of Engineers developing talent and fostering a culture of technical ownership, collaboration and quality. Define and execute the technical strategy and architecture decisions alongside other Lead Engineers and the CTO. Partner with Product Managers, Designers and leadership to refine and execute the product domain’s roadmap. Contribute as a core member of the technology leadership team covering information security and governance to establish standards, protocols and mechanisms for secure, reliable SaaS solutions. In a “you build it, you run it” model ensure that continual delivery is executed, technical risks and dependencies are managed and ensure the team adopts DevOps practices.
