What the job involves

We are seeking an AVP / VP – Business Operations & Asset Manager Marketing Manager (International) to join our International Marketing & Communications team, based in Zurich or London and reporting directly to the Head of International Marketing & Communications. This is a dual-mandate role combining business operations of the international marketing team with Asset Manager (GP) marketing and partnership responsibility.

This person will own the operating mode and support the delivery of International Marketing (plans, prioritization, KPIs) while partnering with Asset Manager Solutions to translate GP priorities into campaigns and event/conference programs that support fundraising.

Operating mode: The role operates at the intersection of international marketing execution, asset manager solutions, and regional coordination. It requires a strong understanding of GP priorities, fundraising objectives, and distribution challenges, particularly as GPs target the global wealth channel.

The successful candidate will translate GP needs into clear, executable marketing initiatives and operational action plans, while also supporting fundraising for iCapital’s proprietary, GP-sponsored events and shaping compelling agendas for iCapital’s flagship conferences.

A strong emphasis is placed on supporting the build-out and execution of regional marketing plans, ensuring alignment between global strategy, regional priorities, and operational delivery.

Support planning, prioritization, and execution discipline across International Marketing initiatives. Translate strategic objectives into clear operating plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring accountability across stakeholders. Help coordinate and shape regional marketing plans and go-to-market priorities in partnership with the Head of International Marketing & Communications and regional teams.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for international marketing programs. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve cross-regional coordination and effectiveness. Serve as a trusted operational partner to the Head of International Marketing & Communications, supporting decision-making and execution at pace.

Support reporting and KPI tracking for International Marketing, preparing concise, insight-driven updates and presentation materials for senior management and monthly alignment calls with client-facing teams. Partner closely with iCapital’s Asset Manager Solutions teams across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and Canada to align GP priorities with marketing execution.

Build a deep understanding of GP business models, fundraising strategies, and distribution goals, translating these into targeted marketing initiatives. Foster strong, trusted relationships with iCapital’s GP clients and support GP fundraising and sponsorship efforts, particularly around proprietary events.

Support and help shape agendas for iCapital’s proprietary global and regional conferences, ensuring content is relevant, compelling, and aligned with GPs’ immediate priorities as they target the wealth channel. Ensure coherent integration between GP-sponsored content, broader event narratives, and iCapital’s positioning.

Act as a key point of coordination between International Marketing & Communications, Asset Manager Solutions, Events, and regional stakeholders. Contribute to international marketing planning, prioritization, and execution across regions. Collaborate closely with the US headquarters-based team members of iCapital’s Marketing & Communications Organization.

This role ensures that iCapital’s international marketing efforts are focused, well-coordinated, and highly relevant to asset managers. By combining business operations ownership with asset manager marketing, the role strengthens GP relationships, supports fundraising, and ensures regional marketing plans are executed effectively.
