We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented FP&A Senior Analyst to join our Insurtech business. As the FP&A Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for producing all financial planning and analysis deliverables, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive the company's financial performance and strategic decision-making.
UnderwriteMe Finance is a global team operating in the UK, Asia, Australia, and the U.S. The Finance team is divided into 3 main areas: Operational Finance, Finance Reporting, and FP&A. The FP&A team is responsible for all financial analysis, MI design and production, strategic planning, and forecasting. The FP&A team also supports the company’s strategic objectives in relation to acquisitions, pricing, modelling, and tax strategy.
Financial Planning:- Develop and maintain the company's financial planning process, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data and assumptions for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics to senior management, highlighting areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario modelling, to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives, new product launches, and pricing changes.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the financial forecast and provide recommendations to mitigate risks or optimize opportunities.
- Develop financial models and dashboards to track and communicate key financial metrics and KPIs.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly/quarterly management reports, board presentations, and staff updates.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Support external audit activities and provide necessary financial information and documentation.
- Work closely with the PP and DP Lines of businesses management teams as required.
