Requirements

- A background in business, finance, accounting, or similar is a plus.
- You have 0-2 years of experience working in finance, admin or business operations.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptable with a bias for action.
- Experience in a fast-paced SME/Startup.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.

What the job involves
We are not expecting you to have experience in all these areas. We are looking for someone with an interest in finance who has a desire to learn about our business model, is excited about our mission, and wants to start or accelerate their career at a fast growing company. You will directly report to the Head of Finance and have a close working relationship with the Management Accountant. Your role will be primarily Finance operations with exposure to wider business operations and HR admin. There is an expectation that this role will evolve in responsibility as the Company grows.
General areas of responsibility are listed below:
- Operational finance: Assisting with accounts payable & receivable; Assisting with supplier & customer payments.
- Financial reporting: Supporting the finance team with monthly and annual reporting.
- Payroll, IT & HR Operations: Assisting with payroll processes and liaising with our outsourced payroll provider; Supporting with HR & IT admin and onboarding/offboarding processes; Assisting with administering company benefits.
- Office Management: Assisting with office management; Assisting with planning company-wide presentations and team days.
