- Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a strong technical accounting background
- Experience within a group finance, external reporting, or consolidation-focused environment

- Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and loan balances

This role is a Fixed Term Contract anticipated to end in April 2027. As a Group Financial Accountant at Jagex, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the delivery of accurate group reporting, statutory accounts, and audit requirements during a pivotal period of transformation across the Finance team.
Working closely with the Associate Director of Group Reporting & Finance Systems, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of month-end close, group consolidations, covenant reporting, and external audits while the wider reporting team supports the implementation of a new ERP system.

- Lead and support month-end close activities, including debt and interest calculations, intercompany processes, and exceptional cost reviews
- Own and maintain capitalised development cost processes, ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies
- Prepare monthly group consolidations and management accounts, including balance sheet, cash flow, and adjusted EBITDA reporting
- Deliver quarterly covenant reporting and support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare statutory accounts for all entities, including audited consolidated accounts, ensuring all filing deadlines are met
- Proactively manage the external audit process with PwC and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely responses and accurate audit evidence
- Support the development and maintenance of group accounting policies and procedures
- Monitor and assess the impact of changes to accounting standards across the business
- Partner closely with FP&A, operational finance, procurement, and revenue teams to improve reporting accuracy and deepen commercial insight
- Support identification of capitalisation opportunities and strengthen business partnering across the organisation
- Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and process optimisation opportunities
