Requirements

  • Significant experience in senior product leadership — ideally at Director level or equivalent — with a track record of owning complex, commercially critical product domains end-to-end.

  • Proven ability to define and execute product strategy across multiple geographies and regulatory environments, balancing global platform thinking with local market needs.
  • Strong experience leading and developing high‑performing product teams, with a genuine commitment to people leadership and building capability over time.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders — including C‑suite, Engineering leadership, and external clients — with clarity, credibility, and commercial acumen.

  • As Product Director for Billing & Payments, you will own the strategic heart of Kaluza's Energy Intelligence Platform — the meter‑to‑cash capabilities that drive revenue, compliance, and customer trust for energy retailers around the world.
  • Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will lead a team of Product Managers and Business Analysts, shape product architecture, and represent Kaluza's billing and payments capabilities to prospective clients and senior stakeholders globally.
  • This is a role of genuine consequence: your decisions will influence the operations of some of the world's most ambitious energy companies, and the millions of end consumers who depend on accurate, transparent billing.
  • Define and champion a clear, ambitious product vision for the Billing & Payments domain — technically feasible, commercially compelling, and aligned with Kaluza's global platform strategy.
  • Lead the definition of product functional architecture in close partnership with Engineering leadership, ensuring billing and payments modules are scalable, compliant, and built to last across multiple geographies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive the full product delivery lifecycle, implementing ways of working that remove blockers, accelerate throughput, and empower cross‑functional teams to ship high‑quality outcomes at pace.
  • Collaborate deeply with Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Pre‑Sales, and Commercial teams to align priorities and turn complex domain challenges into elegant product solutions.
  • Represent Kaluza's billing and payments capability externally — engaging prospective clients, participating in commercial conversations, and building confidence in our platform's ability to deliver at scale.
