What the job involves:
- As a Backend Engineer in Marketing Technology, you will be responsible for building key components of our marketing technology stack.
- You will drive software design and implementation while helping a newly formed cross-functional team.
- You will interact with key stakeholders in the Business Units, Software Development, Marketing, Sales and more to understand requirements and use cases while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
- You will have a concrete impact on the future of the business as a whole.
- Research, plan, scope, evaluate and implement our MarTech stack using Python and PHP.
- Help and train the engineers of our business units to integrate SDKs we provide.
- Own MarTech maintenance, including updates, enhancements, security, and privacy of the systems.
- Help teams identify where technology can help increase conversion, efficiency and user experience.
- Be a point of contact when it comes to technical solutions in the MarTech space and be the key person when it comes to technical questions about the stack.
