We are supporting a high-growth, PE-backed professional services organisation with the appointment of an AI & Automation Technology Director on a contract basis. This is a senior, hands-on technology leadership role responsible for designing, building and scaling enterprise AI capability across the organisation. The successful candidate will own the delivery of AI platforms, automation initiatives and governance frameworks that enable secure, commercially impactful AI adoption. THIS IS A HANDS-ON ROLE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI platforms and applications
  • Build and deploy GenAI and Agentic AI solutions from concept through to production
  • Define AI architecture, governance, security and responsible AI frameworks
  • Identify and deliver automation opportunities across multiple business areas
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive AI adoption and measurable business value
Experience Required
  • Proven background delivering AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG frameworks, AI agents and modern AI tooling
  • Experience with AI governance, data security and scalable technology architecture
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining close to technical delivery
