Artificial Intelligence could be one of humanity’s most useful inventions. At Google DeepMind, we’re a team of scientists, engineers, machine learning experts and more, working together to advance the state of the art in artificial intelligence. We use our technologies for widespread public benefit and scientific discovery, and collaborate with others on critical challenges, ensuring safety and ethics are the highest priority.

The GDM’s People & Culture (P&C) team is on a mission to empower our people to do their best work. Our team’s approach is data-driven, integrated with business goals, agile in response to market changes, and empowering for our leaders. We leverage performance and talent data to drive strategic talent decisions, invest in critical areas, and enable a resilient and elite-performing GDM.

  • Create templates, processes and frameworks that can be leveraged by the team in the future.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions to optimise our existing process operations, with a focus on efficiency and impact, leveraging AI resources and other available technologies.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving scalability, efficiency, and team outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively across the broader People & Culture team, particularly the P&C Analytics team. Our work requires a close partnership with the Analytics team and you’ll be our liaison to them.
  • Quickly gain an in‑depth understanding of our Talent Operations so you can anticipate problems and identify solutions, using your judgement and discretion to determine and plan the next steps of your work.
  • Support ad‑hoc strategic projects and business deep dives as priorities evolve.

Success requires strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and the ability to balance strategic priorities with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment.
