Meet the team behind this journey
As the product design team leader for your track, you will develop talent, foster collaboration, and improve design processes across the organization. Together with product and engineering leadership, you will shape the track’s product strategy and leverage user research insights to identify business opportunities. Clear communication of track strategy and balancing business and user needs will be essential. You’ll help your team maintain a high level of design craftsmanship and ensure the delivery of impactful solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead product design team in your track
- Nurture, grow, and develop design talent in the team
- Foster collaborative culture within your track and between tracks
- Help to develop and improve design processes across the organization
- Champion brand, copy and design standards
- Support and promote the development of a company-wide design system and ensure their use
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define product strategy in your area
- Ensure impact of the teams in the track
- In collaboration with user research, develop and promote a deep understanding of users and their needs in your track. Discover track-wide opportunities.
- Communicate track strategy to their team and help navigate business and user needs trade-offs
- Ensure a high level of design craftsmanship within the track
Qualities we look for
- 7+ years of product/UX design
- At least 3 years of successful management of designers in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience setting product design vision in a product area of multiple teams/platforms.
- Experience with driving the whole product lifecycle – research, prototyping, iterative development and testing, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Extensive knowledge of design processes.
- You base your decisions on facts, not opinion, and always seek to validate your assumptions.
- Solution-oriented and result-driven.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Resilient and able to deal with uncertainty.
- Fluent in English. Other languages are an advantage.
