Founded in 2017 by CEO Jaroslaw “Jarek” Kutylowski, DeepL now has around 1,000 passionate employees and is supported by world-renowned investors including Benchmark, IVP, and Index Ventures. Our goal is to become the global leader in trusted, intelligent AI technology, building products that drive better communication, foster connections, and create a meaningful impact. To achieve this, we need talented people like you to join our journey.

What sets us apart is our blend of cutting-edge AI technology, meaningful work, and a culture where people truly thrive. We’re a team of innovators, researchers, and creators driven by a shared purpose to unlock human potential by making work simpler, smarter, and more connected.

At DeepL, we're on an exciting adventure to expand our operations to match our ambitious growth plans. At the heart of this journey is our Sales team, a cornerstone of DeepL's market expansion and customer engagement strategy. Our mission is clear: to build and develop high-performing sales teams that embody DeepL's innovative spirit and drive for excellence. As a member of our Sales team, you will be at the forefront of driving our growth and expanding our global reach.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Owning territory design globally — coverage models, segmentation, and account assignments — across the annual planning cycle, working directly with sales managers and our regional Sales Strategy Business Partners.
  • Building target-account strategies grounded in our product, partnering with Product, Data Analytics & Insights, and Marketing Operations to sharpen our ICP by region and focus coverage where it's most likely to convert.
  • Owning our sales policies and Rules of Engagement — where reps can and can't sell, how ownership decisions get made, and what happens when the rules are breached.
  • Automating the manual work to shift the role closer to fully strategic.
  • Being the strategy voice in Salesforce roadmap reviews to ensure changes do not disrupt territories or reporting.

Qualities we look for:

  • Around 3–5 years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Go-to-Market Strategy, or sales planning.
  • Highly analytical, comfortable getting into the data across Sheets, Salesforce, and Databricks.
  • Confident reasoning about Salesforce — understanding how accounts, territories, ownership, and data fit together.
  • Able to influence without authority, driving change through insight, evidence, and constructive challenge.
  • A strong bias to automate, using AI tools to remove repetitive work.
  • Proactive, spotting problems and taking initiative to resolve them.
  • Comfortable with real deadlines, especially during planning season.
  • Experience in tech at scale is a plus.
  • Collaborative across regions and disciplines.

What we offer:

  • Diverse and internationally distributed team.
  • Open communication and regular feedback.
  • Hybrid work and flexible hours.
  • Virtual Shares - an ownership mindset in every role.
  • Regular in-person team events.
  • Monthly full-day hacking sessions.
  • 30 days of annual leave.
  • Competitive benefits tailored to your location.

If this role and our mission resonate with you, but you're hesitant because you don't check all the boxes, don't let that hold you back. At DeepL, it's all about the value you bring and the growth we can foster together. Go ahead, apply—let's discover your potential together.

We are an equal opportunity employer. You are welcome at DeepL for who you are - we appreciate authenticity here. Our product is for everyone, and so is our workplace.
