DeepL is continuing to improve how Salesforce supports go-to-market operations across the business. This role is a hands-on Salesforce Platform Analyst position, focused on improving platform usability, data quality, and process consistency across core GTM workflows.
You will work primarily with Salesforce's declarative capabilities to support process improvements, refine automation, and maintain reliable reporting and data standards. Working closely with GTM stakeholders, the Salesforce Manager, and engineering colleagues, you will help ensure Salesforce is used consistently and effectively as the system of record for revenue-related activity.
Your responsibilities
- Platform Analysis & Improvement
- Work with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) to understand how Salesforce is used day to day and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyse current Salesforce processes and usage to identify inefficiencies, data quality issues, and adoption gaps.
- Suggest and support incremental improvements that increase consistency, usability, and data reliability.
- Declarative Configuration & Automation
- Configure and maintain Salesforce using declarative tools such as Flows, validation rules, record types, page layouts, and permissions.
- Refine existing automation and configuration to support consistent data capture and predictable behaviour.
- Support the maintenance of reports and dashboards used by GTM teams.
- Requirements & Documentation
- Translate business requests into clear functional requirements for configuration or development work.
- Maintain process and configuration documentation, including workflow descriptions and key data definitions.
- Support request triage by helping clarify scope, expected outcomes, and complexity.
- Data Quality & Reporting
- Support data quality improvement efforts across core GTM objects.
- Help identify recurring data issues and work with stakeholders to address root causes.
- Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, understandable, and aligned with agreed definitions.
- Enablement & Adoption
- Support the rollout of Salesforce changes through documentation, basic training materials, and user guidance.
- Gather user feedback to help inform future improvements.
- Promote consistent and effective use of Salesforce across GTM teams.
Qualities we look for
- Experience working with Salesforce in an analyst, administrator, or platform support role.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce declarative capabilities.
- Experience analysing business processes and translating them into Salesforce configuration or improvements.
- Exposure to Salesforce reporting and dashboarding.
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders and communicate clearly.
- Familiarity with GTM or commercial processes in a SaaS environment.
Nice to have
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder).
- Experience working in a scaling or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Basic exposure to integration concepts and downstream data consumers.
