Meet DeepL. DeepL is a global AI product and research company focused on building secure, intelligent solutions to complex business problems. Over 200,000 business customers and millions of individuals across 228 global markets today trust DeepL's Language AI platform for human-like translation, improved writing and real-time voice translation.
Founded in 2017 by CEO Jaroslaw “Jarek” Kutylowski, DeepL now has around 1,000 passionate employees and is supported by world-renowned investors including Benchmark, IVP, and Index Ventures. Our goal is to become the global leader in trusted, intelligent AI technology, building products that drive better communication, foster connections, and create a meaningful impact. To achieve this, we need talented people like you to join our journey.
What sets us apart is our blend of cutting-edge AI technology, meaningful work, and a culture where people truly thrive. We’re a team of innovators, researchers, and creators driven by a shared purpose to unlock human potential by making work simpler, smarter, and more connected.
About the Role. DeepL is at an inflection point in its growth, and this is an opportunity to shape how the world's most accurate AI translation company reaches and converts its highest-value accounts. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. As Performance Marketing Manager, you will own DeepL's global programmatic and account-based advertising programmes end to end, across EMEA, DACH, AMER and APJ for our Language AI, Voice and API product lines.
This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. You'll step into a live programme with a seven-figure annual media budget, established DSP and ABM platform partnerships, and campaigns running across native, display, CTV, audio and DOOH. Your job is to keep that engine running and improve it: sharpening targeting and creative, closing the gaps in attribution and CRM integration, managing our media and ABM partners, and working with Field, SDR and regional marketing teams to turn account engagement into pipeline.
What You'll Own:
- Programmatic Campaign Execution: Build, launch and continuously optimize account-list and retargeting campaigns across programmatic native, display, CTV, audio and DOOH, spanning multiple products and regions. Manage a substantial always-on media budget across markets, reallocating spend between products, channels and geographies based on performance rather than plan.
- Account-Based Marketing: Own our ABM platform as the internal expert, building personalised landing pages and microsites for named target accounts with tailored messaging, proof points and calls to action. Run coordinated account plays that pair those personalised destinations with programmatic and paid social distribution.
- Agency, Vendor & Martech: Own the day-to-day relationship with our DSP and ABM platform partners: clear briefs, KPI accountability, budget efficiency and creative production timelines. Lead the evaluation of new ABM and intent technologies, running discovery and pilots and recommending whether to proceed.
- Measurement & Enablement: Own performance reporting across the programme by product, channel and region, and communicate it clearly to Marketing and Field leadership. Close the known gaps in programmatic measurement.
What You'll Bring:
- 4–7+ years in B2B performance or account-based marketing, ideally in enterprise or B2B SaaS, with hands-on ownership of paid campaigns.
- Deep, practical experience with programmatic advertising — DSP campaign setup, account-list targeting, retargeting, budget pacing and optimisation.
- Experience running an ABM platform or personalisation tooling, and using engagement signals to support sales outreach.
- Strong vendor and agency management skills: briefing, holding partners to KPIs, running evaluations or RFPs, and negotiating scope and cost.
- A track record of partnering closely with Field and SDR teams, and of building frameworks other marketers can pick up and run with.
We are an equal opportunity employer. You are welcome at DeepL for who you are - we appreciate authenticity here. Our product is for everyone, and so is our workplace. The more voices we have represented and amplified in our business, the more we will all succeed, contribute, and think forward!
