In this role, you'll convert high-intent inbound interest into a qualified pipeline for the business. You'll work closely with our Marketing team to maximise the return on events (webinars, trade shows, DeepL Connect, virtual events) and always-on campaigns (contact forms, trials, white papers, content downloads). As often the first person a prospect speaks to, you'll shape their entire experience with DeepL from the very first touch.

- Your Responsibilities
- Inbound Lead Management
- Respond rapidly to inbound leads from contact forms, free trials, webinars, and content downloads
- Prioritise leads based on intent signals, ensuring timely, relevant, and value-driven communication
- Nurture prospects who aren't immediately ready, keeping them warm with helpful content and well-timed follow-up
- Own end-to-end follow-up for event leads, maintaining quality and speed even during high-volume periods
- Qualification & Pipeline Generation
- Apply a structured qualification framework to ensure every meeting is well-documented and properly qualified
- Convert inbound interest into well-prepared, qualified sales opportunities
- Articulate the value of our product suite clearly, creating curiosity and clear next steps
- Meet and exceed monthly targets for pipeline contribution
- Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with stakeholders based in Germany, taking initiative to keep communication proactive across time zones and locations
- Maintain accurate, complete records in your CRM for every interaction
- Share insights on lead quality and messaging effectiveness to help improve campaign performance
- Bring ideas that help the team improve how it converts inbound interest, moving beyond a purely passive, reactive approach
- What We're Looking For
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Around 12 months of relevant sales or customer-facing experience (SDR/BDR/Inside Sales), ideally in SaaS
- Highly organised, with strong personal initiative — comfortable driving your own workload with minimal oversight
- Confidence working with stakeholders based remotely in Germany
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong time management; able to juggle multiple leads, channels, and priorities
- Nice-to-Haves
- Some outbound prospecting experience
- Experience with DACH enterprise or mid-market prospects
- Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g. Salesforce, Salesloft)
- Interest in helping improve how the team converts and engages inbound leads
- Fluency in another European language
