We're looking for a Commercial Account Executive to help us accelerate growth across DeepL's commercial segment (up to 500 employees) in the Benelux region. In this role, you'll own the full sales cycle with a focus on bringing in new business — building real relationships with clients and helping them break down language barriers with our market-leading AI translation technology. The role can be based in London or Amsterdam.
Your responsibilities:
- Be a driving force in DeepL's growth by introducing our translation solutions to businesses across Benelux — helping them communicate across borders with confidence.
- Become a trusted expert on our products and a genuine partner to customers, understanding their needs and finding the right solutions for them.
- Guide prospects through the full sales cycle — from first conversation to close — with care, clarity and purpose.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new business, while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- Work collaboratively with our SDR, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver a seamless experience for every prospect and customer.
- Keep your pipeline organised and your forecasting sharp — tracking opportunities, use cases, timeframes, and next steps.
- Contribute to a team culture where everyone's success is shared.
Qualities we look for:
- 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience.
- Background in software or SaaS sales is a plus — but a strong learning mindset matters just as much.
- Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills — you know how to build trust and tell a compelling story.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment and able to adapt when priorities shift.
- A collaborative spirit — you enjoy lifting others up as much as you enjoy your own wins.
- Fluency in Dutch OR French and English is essential.
