The Electrician is responsible for general electrical maintenance of the operation fleet, equipment, and fixtures. Complete understanding of AC and DC circuits, electrical schematics, pressure switches and PLC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment including components installed on oilfield and well control equipment.
- Perform work on specialized oilfield equipment.
- Perform repairs in the field on mobile equipment.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities.
- Troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Perform visual and functional inspection and associated checklists.
- Record jobs and inspections using work order system.
- Provide support and work closely with DWS Snubwell team.
- Other projects as assigned by management.

Skills & Abilities:
- Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years of electrical work; generator, light plant repair and maintenance; knowledge of 12V and 24V systems; previous experience with I/III phase motors/components; knowledge of class 1 DIV 1 fixtures and components; knowledge of accumulator charging systems; computer skills an asset.
- Other Requirements: Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
