The Senior Electronics Repair Engineer is responsible for diagnosing faults and repairing customer warranty returns and production units. The role develops and maintains warranty repair operating and maintenance procedures, produces repair analysis and reports, and supports the Test Resources, Production and Development teams by assisting with and carrying out test procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out fault finding and repair work on warranty returns
- Keep up to date with current unit specification / performance changes
- Reports on failure; support as required deeper customer Failure analysis (FA) requests
- Retrieval of warranty returns
- Support of remote activity
- Fault Finding to component level, and repair of PCBA’s
- Ability to operate under own initiative as well as possessing strong team working skills
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and to tight deadlines
- Ability to work at a high level of concentration and commitment
- Excellent Communication Skills
