As a SHEQ Systems Engineer at DEEP Manufacturing you will play a crucial role in the administration and maintenance of our integrated management system (IMS) covering Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety standards. You will work closely with our technical and operations teams to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, safely and accurately. The primary location will be at our Avonmouth facility, with occasional travel to other facilities within our portfolio.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrated management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Plan and conduct internal audits across quality, environmental and health & safety scopes
  • Create quality control plans and conduct product quality inspections
  • Audit and assess supply chain members against quality, environmental and H&S requirements
  • Support the SHEQ Manager with external certification audits
  • Interact with external parties (customers and suppliers) for quality, environmental and H&S related information
  • Identify and manage environmental aspects/impacts and H&S risk assessments
  • Investigate and report incidents, accidents and near‑misses
  • Report key business, quality, environmental and safety metrics
  • Conduct integrated management system reviews
  • Control and manage documented information, change and non‑conformances
  • Work to achieve continual improvement activities across the IMS

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of SHEQ/QA experience within a manufacturing industry – knowledge of welding is desirable
  • In‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements; internal auditing certification and experience required
  • Previous experience working within an integrated management system covering quality, environmental and health & safety
  • Proficient in computer skills, including SharePoint, MS Office applications and familiarity with document management software
  • Strong organisational abilities, capable of multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Ready and able to undertake hands‑on activities should the task dictate
  • Willingness to embrace continuous learning and adapt to new procedures and technologies
