We are recruiting for one of London's most anticipated new restaurant openings. This premium dining concept is built on high-quality ingredients, elevated yet approachable cuisine, and genuine hospitality. We are seeking a high‐calibre General Manager to be the engine of this new site, leading from the floor and setting the blueprint for excellence.
Role ReviewThe General Manager will lead the team, set the operational standard, and ensure the restaurant's commercial success. We are looking for a "floor-first" leader—someone who stays organized, inspires their team, and makes the restaurant a place people love to work in and guests love to return to.
In Your First 12 Months, You'll:- Service Leadership: Lead the team to consistently deliver elite service standards across lunch and dinner.
- Team Building: Recruit and retain a full FOH and BOH team, implementing clear onboarding and training to achieve high retention.
- Financial Ownership: Manage site-level P&L, including labour percentage targets, food costs, waste, and daily controllables.
- Operational Rhythm: Run high-impact daily pre‐shift briefings and post‐service debriefs to keep the team aligned.
- Compliance: Maintain full compliance across Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Licensing with no audit issues.
- Site Standards: Drive impeccable daily standards, from floor setup and atmosphere to cleanliness and equipment readiness.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Act as the lead face of the business, creating a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Experience: Proven track record as a General Manager in a premium, quality‐led restaurant environment.
- Leadership: Confident ability to build, motivate, and hold a diverse team to a high standard.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong operational knowledge of rota planning, stock control, and P&L reporting.
- Composure: A calm, organized, and solutions‐focused approach to service and people management.
