We’re partnering with a Series B technology company that has raised close to $100M and is fundamentally reshaping how energy is bought, sold, and priced. Now entering a new phase of international expansion, they are hiring a VP Communications to lead their global narrative, reputation, and brand strategy. This is not a traditional PR role. The VP Communications will operate at the intersection of leadership, policy, and market perception - working directly with the Chief Growth Officer to define how the company is understood across media, regulators, and the broader energy ecosystem.
Key focus areas include:
- Owning corporate communications and high-stakes reputation management
- Building executive visibility across media, policy, and industry forums
- Defining and scaling a clear, differentiated category narrative
- Leading brand strategy and long-term positioning
- Developing a content and thought leadership engine that reinforces credibility
We’re looking for a senior communications leader with:
- 10+ years’ experience in high-growth technology environments (Unicorn+)
- A strong track record in corporate communications, PR, and executive advisory
- Experience operating in regulated or politically sensitive industries
- Proven ability to shape market narratives and position companies at the category level
This is a rare opportunity to shape the voice and perception of a company at the forefront of the energy transition - where communications is not a support function, but a strategic lever.
