About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and highly experienced Staff Product Designer, Growth to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our products, driving design excellence, and unlocking new levels of user engagement, adoption, and retention. You will lead design initiatives across growth-focused projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive, measurable, and impactful user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Growth Design Initiatives: Define and deliver product design across multiple growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, and key growth metrics (activation, engagement, retention, monetization).
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product, engineering, data analysts, and marketers to define, test, and iterate on growth hypotheses — building high-quality experiences that are functional and delightful.
- Design System Partner: Partner with Deel UI stakeholders to drive design system strategy. You will champion consistency and innovation while ensuring Growth-specific needs are met through the strategic use of motion, including animations, micro-interactions, and transitions.
- Design, Prototype, and Experiment at Speed: Rapidly design, prototype, and test new features. Leverage A/B testing frameworks and data insights to validate hypotheses and optimize user journeys, delivering thoughtful solutions in the face of ambiguity.
- Mentor and Guide: Provide mentorship to Product Designers, offering constructive feedback to foster growth. Lead design practice rituals and develop new standards that enhance team efficiency.
- Identify and Solve Bottlenecks: Partner with product and engineering to identify friction points and implement improvements that streamline the user journey and team process.

Requirements:
- Passion for Design: A deep passion for Product Design, UX craft, and growth — committed to creating impactful user experiences that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Extensive Experience: 5–7 years as a Product Designer, with at least 2 years as a Staff Product Designer (or equivalent), and proven growth design experience.
- Multi-Disciplinary Expertise: Strong UI, UX, and visual design skills with a track record of crafting functional yet delightful experiences, including advanced prototyping techniques such as progressive disclosure.
- Growth & Experimentation Mindset: Deep understanding of product metrics, user behavior analytics, and A/B testing. Familiarity with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools. Portfolio showcasing experimentation work and measurable outcomes — ideally including onboarding flows, virality features, pricing pages, or subscription models.
- AI: Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies; experience designing AI-assisted or AI-powered product experiences or using AI tools as part of your design workflow. A portfolio that includes examples of work related to AI-powered features, AI-assisted workflows, or experiments with AI tools.
- Data-Informed Design: Design work rooted in ideation, experimentation, and evidence — using qualitative and quantitative data to ensure recommendations are always backed by measurable insight.
