The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
Candidates will be supervising the delivery and performance of our grounds maintenance, arboriculture, caretaking and cleaning services in our communal open spaces, playgrounds and blocks. They will be managing the delivery of service level agreements and programmes of works whilst ensuring health and safety compliance is paramount.
The role will look to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, maintaining the quality of our green spaces and achieving value for money. Candidates will likely see their week is split, part in the community, out and about with the team and part of the role definitely requires them to be available at a laptop for meetings and completing the admin that comes with this role.
This isnβt likely to be their first time leading a team; they will ideally have previous supervisory experience, although this is not essential as they will be supported to learn this element of the role. They are used to working towards deadlines whilst ensuring a high standard of work is maintained.
Ideally, their people skills will help them to coach and effectively lead the teams, whilst also working with external suppliers and managing their performance. They will have a good understanding of health and safety legislation, waste disposal legislation and environmental policies. They will have experience in dealing with customers at all levels.
