Senior Electrical Design Engineers (Several locations: NG15, NE11, S60, L6, M32)

POSITIONS

  1. Leadership of the Electrical Design of Projects with minimal supervision
  2. Providing supervision including mentoring/coaching/development and performance management for a small team of Engineers.
  3. Ability to plan and execute to agreed plans
  4. Delivery of complex engineering solutions to agreed time scales and budgets
  5. Attend design team meetings, working with the wider client team to deliver projects
  6. Provide technical support for discussion with clients and suppliers
  7. Provide technical support and guidance for installation and commissioning activities

PERSON

The ideal candidate would have:

  1. Experience of a similar role in a bespoke multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
  2. Experience in designing Power distribution systems generally at 230V
  3. Experience of Electrical CAD packages such as Amtech and Dialux
  4. Can work within a team or as an individual to achieve deliverables.
  5. Experience of working to ISO9001 or equivalent in a project based organisation.
  6. A high level of competence with IT systems and tools.

The ideal candidate would also have, but is not essential:

  1. Chartered Engineering status
  2. Affiliation with industry recognised bodies
  3. A good understanding of current regulations, particularly the latest wiring regulations.
