Disclosure Officer Leicestershire (Local Authority role) Initial 3-6 month contract Rate: Negotiable, indicate rate sought (Umbrella co) 37 hours per week Hybrid working * Knowledge and experience of CPIA Code of Practice which includes experience as a disclosure officer. * Working with Legal Process Officer throughout the investigation to ensure all reasonable lines of enquiry are identified and disclosure issues raised alongside the investigation * Working independently using an electronic case management system to assess material for disclosure and record findings. * Attend reviews with OIC and SIO thereby able to demonstrate good communication skills * Signing off appropriate documentation and ensuring that case files have been assessed completely for disclosure * Responsible to the Team Leader and raising any concerns and reporting to Legal Process Officer any issues with disclosure that may affect the legal proceedings at the earliest opportunity. * Ability to work methodically and meticulously to ensure accuracy and LCC’s requirement to fulfil the legal responsibilities
