We visit several care homes in the WGC area monthly or fortnightly, in small teams. Each home has a different pattern of visit. One to one visits are possible with residents who do not leave their room. We are open to offers of less regular, or even one off, visits from people who would like to sing or play for the residents or run a specific activity.

As many residents have a degree of dementia, we encourage visitors to become dementia friends. We also run a session on how to have a good visit and to familiarise visitors with our policies. We visit residents of local care homes for various activities including tea parties and one-to-one visits.
