Join Willow as a Community Fundraising Volunteer and play a crucial role in supporting our Supporter Fundraising team. You will help us bring the core values of Willow into the community through local events, special talks, and presentations aimed at attracting new supporters, ultimately resulting in more special experiences for our beneficiaries.

What’s involved?

  • Creating Long‑lasting Relationships: Ongoing, focusing on building and maintaining supporter connections.
  • Identifying Opportunities: Continuously monitor both local and national environments for potential support opportunities.
  • Presenting Willow Content: Periodically, as scheduled with small groups or at specific events.
  • Researching Fundraising Trends: Regularly, with guidance and support from the team.
  • Supporting Willow Events: Throughout the year, based on event schedules and volunteer availability.
  • Acting as a Willow Representative: Consistently, maintaining high standards and upholding Willow's core values in all interactions.

How long and how often: We are looking for a volunteer to offer longer term support, committing up to a few hours per week.

Location: Willow head office, based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, events locally as required.

About Willow Foundation: Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days. Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 21,500 Special Days for young adults living with life‑threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease.
