We need friendly, willing helpers who are happy to clean, tidy, restock shelves, and check items in and out of the library on a laptop. As a start up, we will have limited opening hours as our membership grows. Most of our stock is made up of second hand items, so we will need volunteers happy to get their hands a little dirty.

If you are a person who enjoys practical tasks, we can promise you a regular supply of items that need fixing. All items are checked in and out of the library on our website, and so a familiarity with IT will be preferable. We anticipate footfall to be quite slow initially, so please be prepared for a relaxed pace where you may have days with not much to do.

We love ‘community’, so if you are a person who enjoys working with others, please consider joining our happy team. We are a ‘library of things’ whose dual purpose is to reduce unnecessary waste by encouraging the reuse of items that would otherwise find their way to landfill, and offering these items as low cost loans to our members thus supporting people facing financial hardship.

The majority of our library stock is made up of preloved everyday items for use in your household, garden, DIY projects, camping trips, leisure time etc. The list is endless! Why buy, when you can borrow.

How to prepare for a job interview at DeedMob B.V

Show Your Community Spirit

Make sure to express your enthusiasm for community work during the interview. Share any previous experiences you have in volunteering or working with others, as this will highlight your fit for a role that values teamwork and community engagement.

Get Familiar with IT

Since you'll be checking items in and out on a laptop, brush up on your basic IT skills before the interview. If you can, practice using similar systems or software to show that you're comfortable with technology, which will give you an edge.

Embrace the Hands-On Approach

Be ready to discuss your willingness to get your hands dirty! Talk about any practical tasks you've enjoyed in the past, whether it's cleaning, fixing items, or organising spaces. This will demonstrate that you're not afraid of a bit of hard work.

Prepare for a Relaxed Environment

Since the library may have slow footfall initially, mention your adaptability and patience. Share how you can stay engaged and productive even during quieter times, perhaps by suggesting ways to improve the space or assist with inventory.
