Detailed description
We’re looking for volunteer minibus drivers to support our vital work with individuals living with a visual impairment across Hertfordshire. As part of our team, you’ll help transport members to HVL events, SightLife support group meetings, and other meaningful outings that reduce isolation and help build a caring, connected community.
Your role will also include:
Topping up the minibus with fuel.
Taking the vehicle for routine maintenance checks and repairs.
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a full, clean UK driving licence (D1 entitlement preferred but not essential)
Is friendly, patient, and empathetic.
Has a genuine desire to support our wonderful service users.
Is willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (fully funded by us)
