Pinehill junior parkrun takes place every Sunday in Hitchin at 9am with volunteers arriving at 8.30am in order to be briefed and meet the team. Everyone of any age or background can come and participate through volunteering. You don't need any experience of parkrun or volunteering and you certainly don’t need to be a runner or a parent or have tried anything like this before.
There are different roles to try, such as marshaling or handing out finish tokens. All the roles are straightforward and there are always other volunteers on hand to show you the ropes and answer any questions.
