Why not become a Befriending Volunteer and help older people feel less alone?
We are looking for friendly, caring volunteers who can visit once a week and give them some company.
What will I be doing?
You will be matched with an older person, providing friendship and sharing news, views and interests.
As a Visiting Scheme Befriender – you will regularly visit an older person in their own home, perhaps for a cup of tea and a chat.
Due to the geographical location, you will need to be a driver and have access to a car.
All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and are recruited subject to references and a clear enhanced DBS. Training will be provided
