Summary
Can you spare an hour a week to change an older person’s life by visiting them? We are looking for friendly, caring volunteers who can visit our clients.
Details
Reach Out is a project that provides companionship and practical support to older people who are medically vulnerable, home from hospital or at risk of going into hospital.
Your visit can really make a difference to someone’s day who is feeling lonely and isolated, be it a cup of tea and a good natter or a short walk in the fresh air.
Reach Out allows you to contribute to your community by doing something rewarding, and many of our volunteers say how much the volunteering experience has benefitted them.
Requirements
Volunteers must have a clean Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and be committed to visiting at least one client a week.
